Building on the accomplished sound of the acoustic CG101, the CGX101’s piezo pickup and preamp with three-band EQ deliver an impressive, smoothly responsive repertoire of powered sounds, while the adjustable midrange frequency (from 600Hz - 3kHz) extends the tonal permutations and helps eliminate feedback in high-volume live situations.
The preamp’s system mute switch is particularly useful on stage, say for instantly silencing the guitar between numbers without affecting the volume setting.
