Accompanied by the rich, punchy sound of its rosewood back and sides and hand-selected solid spruce top, the CPX15A takes to the high seas with stunning nautical flag motifs adorning the bound ebony fingerboard and within the wood-inlaid soundhole rosette. The ebony bridge is another premium feature.
Amplified sound excellence is provided by a two-way piezo/mic system, the latter mounted in fixed position underneath the bridge plate. The preamp allows both signals to be blended for the ultimate in acoustic-like realism, while the four-band EQ includes presence for added sparkle and a variable midrange (300Hz - 2kHz) for extended tonal adjustment. The supplied soundhole cover is a handy device to help prevent feedback in high-volume situations.
