At least,that’s what the pros started saying, only half in jest, when Yamaha steadfastly refused to make the Xeno available anywhere but in Japan. "We’re not yet ready to send it out into the world," we explained. "We’re making it perfect, refining it down to the smallest detail." Xeno Bb trumpets offer a choice of bore sizes; medium large for versatility, and large for a broad sound with er. Bell material options for Bb Xenos include; yellow brass - for clear sound with strong projection, and gold brass - for warmer, deeper sound. All are available in either silver-plate or clear-lacquer finishes.
