The CPX15NA’s hand-selected solid spruce top and precise, bright-sounding satin sycamore back and sides are dressed in a beautiful all-white translucent finish that evokes images of the frozen north. Whale’s-tail markers adorn the bound ebony fingerboard; an exquisite midnight-sun scene surrounds the soundhole.
The pro-quality two-way piezo/mic system - the mic mounted in fixed position underneath the bridge plate - allows both signals to be blended for the ultimate in acoustic-like realism, while the preamp’s four-band EQ includes presence for added sparkle and a variable midrange (300Hz - 2kHz) for extended tonal tailoring. The supplied soundhole cover helps prevent feedback in high-volume situations.
