We’re deep in cowboy country with the CPX15WA. Interlocking longhorn motifs circle the wood-inlaid soundhole rosette, the bound ebony fingerboard carries handsome concho inlays of delicate pearl and turquoise. The combination of a hand-selected solid spruce top and walnut back and sides contribute a quick-responding sound, with bright highs and generous low-end warmth.
The two-way piezo/mic system - the mic mounted in fixed position underneath the bridge plate - allows both signals to be blended for the ultimate in acoustic-like realism. The four-band EQ includes presence for added sparkle, and a variable midrange (300Hz - 2kHz) for extended tonal adjustment. The supplied soundhole cover helps prevent feedback in high-volume situations.
