  • Junior Music Course (JMC)
This course is the foundation of the entire Yamaha Music School. Because this is the period when children's hearing sense develops most remarkably, we offer two-year group lesson. Each group consists of about 10 students, with the primary objective being to enable them to acquire a sense of pitch as well as the ability to identify sounds. The children learn the three basic elements of music: rhythm, melody and harmony, through hearing, singing and playing. The course develops their basic capabilities to enjoy music in a free and easy manner.
  • Junior Extension Course (JXC)
  • Junior Advanced Course (JAC)
This course is designed to enhance children's comprehensive abilities based on the fundamental music knowledge they have acquired in the Junior Music Course. After completing this course, they can advance to the Junior Advanced Course.

The Popular Music School offers 7 different classes, Electric guitar, Acoustic guitar, Drums, Electric bass, Saxophone and Flute. Participants acquire performing techniques in an unconstrained manner through enjoyable lessons in small groups.
