The president of Yamaha Corporation congratulates to European subsidiaries and passed his deep thanks to partners and customers for 4 decades of trust and support to make the YAMAHA brand a highly respected and succesful player in European MI business.
The founding of YAMAHA Europa
GmbH in Hamburg on the 11th October
1966 paved the way for the successful
development of the enterprise
throughout Europe. To mark the 40th anniversary,
Shuji Ito, the President of the
Yamaha Corporation, thanked employees
for their outstanding customer-orientation, expressing particular gratitude to the dealers
and importers who have carried forward
and interpreted the corporate culture
of Yamaha on the European continent and
the many purchasers of Yamaha products
and services. Creating Kando (or 'inspiration')
together – which is both a way of
thinking and a manner of behaviour – will
remain the watchword of the Yamaha Corporation
in the future. Important advances
in the year 2002 were the creation of
Yamaha Music Holding Europe GmbH, as
the umbrella organization for all the European
distribution companies; the renaming
of Yamaha Europa GmbH (YE) 'Yamaha
Music Central Europe GmbH' (YMCE); and
the construction of a new head office in
Rellingen, due for completion next year,
which will optimize communication, allowing
Yamaha to offer even more efficient
service to its customers in the future.
