The new MV flute series was developed in collaboration with Shigenori Kudo (professor at Ecole Normale de
Musique de Paris). Target was an instrument which plays effortlessly and extraordinary expressively. Meticulous
attention to each detail and a number of unique designs result in rich tonal characteristics and enhanced
resonance. Technical details are a new original scale as well as pad cups with flat inner surface.
The MV flute comes with a new "Type M" headjoint, exclusively designed for this flutes, which facilitates a warm
and rich sound character (similar to HC-type). MV flutes are available in full silver (YFL-884MV, YFL-894MV) –
without extra silver-plating – as well as in 14K gold (YFL-984MV, YFL-994MV) in A, B or C variations known from
other 14K models, of course also with B-foot joint.
