The ACU16-C provides comprehensive, wide-ranging control of up to thirty-two separate PC-N series amplifiers.With a computer and the included NetworkAmp Manager software, you can control and monitor such settings and functions as In/Out levels, limiting, protection circuit, heat sink temperature, PowerON/StandBy, attenuation, phase, muting ? and even speaker failure, through the monitoring of each speaker's impedance.

Automatic troubleshooting and log file creation

NetworkAmp Manager also serves as a comprehensive troubleshooting aid, warning you of problems and recording them automatically to a log file. The software monitors conditions such as protection circuit on, heat sink temperature, and any excess in impedance over a previously set value ? mmediately alerting you to any problems or malfunctions and helping

Features D/A conversion for up to 16 channels and is compatible with CobraNet

The ACU16-C is fully compatible with CobraNet? technology, allowing you to receive digital audio over four bundles* and send to the assignable 16-channel analog outputs. Thanks to the built-in 24- bit D/A converter ? the same as that on the DM2000/02R96 ? high-quality sound is maintained right up to the PC-N units, with 110dB of dynamic range. This sophisticated device can also send and receive control information data, letting you use just one ACU16-C to network up to thirty-two separate PC-N series power amps in extended systems. What's more, up to sixteen ACU16-C devices can be connected via the high-speed CobraNetTM connections.

* One bundle contains 8 channels of 20-bit audio, or 7 channels of 24-bit audio (at 48kHz).

Duplicate connections for exceptional reliability

The four 8-channel AES/EBU input/output terminals allow the NHB32-C to transmit and receive a maximum of 32 channels I/O of digital audio via CobraNet. The same Ethernet cable used to carry the audio signal also carries COM or MIDI data between two NHB32-Cs. With an ACU16-C connected to the network, monitoring and control of Yamaha's PC9500N or PC4800N power amplifiers is possible. The NHB32-C is equipped with both Primary and Secondary terminals for CobraNet connection so if there is a problem with one line, you'll get seamless transmission and reception with the backup line.
