ACD1

ACD1 provides a convenient, reliable means to connect a computer running Yamaha’s advanced NetworkAmp Manager II amplifier control and monitoring software to Yamaha Tn, PC1N, XP, XM and XH series amplifiers. Up to 32 daisy-chained Tn and/or PC1N series amplifiers can be connected to the ACD1 DATA PORT connector via standard Ethernet cables, while as many as 8 XP, XM, and/or XH series amplifiers can be connected to individual MONITOR/REMOTE connectors via appropriate D-sub cables. Yamaha’s TXn power amplifiers connect directly to NetworkAmp Manager II via Ethernet, without the need for the ACD1, so you can simultaneously connect TXn amps and other Yamaha amplifiers connected via an ACD1 unit to a single computer by using a standard high-speed Ethernet hub.

The NetworkAmp Manager II software makes allows users to monitor, manage and control the available functions of TXn amplifiers, as well as Tn, PC1N, XP, XM and XH amplifiers connected to a network via the ACD1. The software runs on Windows based computers, and once set up you can use its efficient, intuitive graphical interface to remotely monitor and control each device on the network.

In addition to comprehensive control and monitoring capability, the NetworkAmp Manager II software also provides a number of features that make managing and controlling large multi-amp systems easy and efficient. The software’s intelligent grouping feature allows users to freely name, and group amplifiers for easy identification. Users have access to desired amplifiers by identifying through location of the amplifier, through speakers or drivers being driven by the amplifier, or through any other user defined names. The software also alerts when parameters such as voltage, wattage, temperature or impedance (upper/lower) exceed pre-defined values, while automatically logging such events to an info file so it’s easy to pinpoint and troubleshoot problems.
