The APX5NA brings the subtleties of classical voicing to the fore, with its spruce top fan braced like traditional nylon-strung guitars, and the latest line-up’s deeper body dimensions adding tonal warmth and smoothness. Cosmetics are elegant too, including pearloid-buttoned, gold-plated tuners, a sculpted rosewood bridge and a wood-inlaid soundhole rosette.
The highly responsive B-Band under-saddle pickup delivers superb amplified balance and clarity, while the powerful, newly designed three-band preamp has a variable midrange frequency from 80Hz - 5kHz, extending the tonal possibilities as well as helping eliminate feedback in high-volume situations.
