Newly Designed Nouveau Lugs
Yamaha has refined its Nouveau lug design, utilizing FRC (Fiber Reinforced Composite) on the bolt to which the lug is hooked. The lugs incorporate a unique floating design that eliminates contact between the lug casing and shell body to let the shell vibrate freely and reduce damping. Its design also makes for quick and easy head changes since you no longer need to completely remove the tuning bolts from the lugs. This keeps your washers from getting lost as well.
Air hole, YESS and bolts on the shell side are all attached to the shell at its nodal point to greatly minimize influence on shell resonance to deliver maximum tone.
