_ Are you a talented musician who really stands out from the crowd? Yamaha Music Schools (YMS) are looking for energetic and accomplished musicians who also have great communication and people skills. _
_

To be shortlisted for audition you will need to be over 18, a good singer, keyboard player, drummer or guitarist who can play well from a traditional score. You will be at least Grade 6 playing ability and will be able to free up time to teach in the evenings or at weekends.

From the shortlist we will be looking for that special, highly motivated musician with a passion to become a fantastic Yamaha teacher and an asset to their local YMS team!

The successful candidate will receive free training (in Milton Keynes) from Yamaha teaching professionals, covering the superb Yamaha Music School teaching materials and system, which, for over 50 years has taught hundreds of thousands of people to learn to play in the most natural and fun way you could imagine.

In particular we are looking for teachers to teach our following Yamaha courses:

  • General Music (keyboard) Course for starting ages 4-5: Junior Music Course (JMC)
  • Keyboard course for starting ages 6-7: Junior Play for Keeps (JPFK)
  • Keyboard course for ages 9 to adult: Play For Keeps (PFK)
  • Electric guitar course for ages 9 to adult: Guitar Encounters (GE)
  • Drum course for ages 9 to adult: Drum Encounters (DE)
  • Vocal course for ages 9 to adult: Vocal Encounters (VE)
