| THE INSTITUTE OF CONTEMPORARY MUSIC PERFORMANCE |
For over 20 years, and initially founded as the Guitar Institute, The Institute has been leading the way in the development of contemporary music education for bassists, guitarists, vocalists and drummers. The Institute delivers a wide range of courses, such as the Degree, Higher Diploma and Diploma, as well as various informal programmes. All courses are delivered by our experienced faculty of active professional musicians, and in our new world-class facilities that feature fully equipped classrooms, a 24 track studio, live performance rooms, an Apple equipped technology suite and acoustic drum booths; all free to use for current students!
The school is also very proud to have Yamaha as its leading guitar partner and key sponsor of the Yamaha Scholarship for Guitar.
ICMP graduates can be found playing and performing with artists such as Moby, Babyshambles, Madonna, KT Tunstall and Eric Clapton; if you want to develop a career in the industry, there is no better place to start!
