Leading composer Howard Goodall is the latest in a long line of eminent artists to choose Yamaha Clavinova for his latest CD recording. Howard, best known for his classic TV themes for the series “Blackadder” and “The Vicar Of Dibley”, performed a selection of his latest compositions on a Yamaha CLP280 Clavinova for his recent recording session for Faber Music. The Clavinova’s authentic tone and response made it the natural choice for Howard’s new venture.
Commenting on Howard’s selection of instrument, Andy Carvill, Yamaha’s UK Marketing Manager for electronic keyboards, said, “We’re delighted that Howard has joined the likes of Jools Holland, Chris Martin, Tony Hadley, The Cann Twins, Tony Ross and George Martin in recognizing the creative potential and sonic capabilities of Yamaha Clavinova. What better way to celebrate the Clavinova’s 25th birthday than a new collection of original compositions from one of Britain’s foremost modern composers?”
