The Pink Ribbon Foundation is a grant making trust which helps provide financial support and funding to UK charities, often the smaller less well-known organisations, all of which have a remit to relieve the needs of people who are suffering from, or who have been affected by breast cancer or who work to advance the understanding of breast cancer, its early detection and treatment. With almost no infrastructure and therefore extremely low running costs, all of the trustees that work with and organisations that support the Pink Ribbon foundation donate their time freely to make sure that all money raised goes directly to the charities.
Hand-finished by Martin Sims of Sims Custom shop and finished in the trademark hot pink widely associated with breast cancer charities, the one of a kind Pink Ribbon Pacifica 112V was sold off at auction by the Pink Ribbon Foundation at one of their recent fundraising events and was reported as ‘a big hit’ by the foundation.
Yamaha’s best selling electric guitar ever, the Pacifica 112V is available in a range of finishes, but not Hot Pink, ensuring the Pink Ribbon guitar stands to be collectible and desirable as well as a symbol of support for breast cancer charities.
